Curry leaves are naturally flavoring agents with an innumerous of important health benefits. They not only give your food a pleasant aroma but also can enhance its flavor and health benefits. Curry leaves (kadi patta) are the leaves of the curry tree, scientifically known as Murraya koenigii Spreng. The plant is native to India & usually originated in tropical and subtropical regions. The plant height ranges is usually from 6 to 15 feet long .There are number of health benefits of curry leaves which makes them more appealing. The leaves can be dried or fried depends on intended use.

  Curry leaves contains high amounts of vitamin A, which is beneficial for eyesight, according to experts.Vitamin A contains carotenoids which protect the cornea and the eye surface. Deficiency of vitamin A may cause night blindness, and even loss of vision in some cases.
8.  Helps to Heal Wounds
   Curry leaves are also useful in skin care. The juice or paste of the leaves can be applied to burns, cuts, skin irritations, and insect bites for an expedient recovery and clean healing.
9.  Fight Cancer
   The chemical components found in curry leaves such as phenols are helpful in fighting cancers such as leukemia, prostate cancer, and colorectal cancers. One research study showed proof of colon cancer-fighting properties in the carbazole alkaloid that is extracted from curry leaves.
